She was born in Santa Monica California, the United States of America on the 26th of November in 1986. She is the child of her father Vincenzo and mother Valerie Barba. The year 2006 was the time when the couple moved with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Her high school studies in New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. The schooling continued through Catholic University where she earned the degree of bachelor of architecture. At the age of four She began playing the violin, earning her the name Violin Girl. At the age of nineteen, she appeared on the sixth season of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. However she was eliminated after being ranked 16th on the show.
