Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14 years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd had an amazing 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent in the very first round. Ladd went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving the mark of a loss on Aspen's records as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from defeat by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a pro. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen go from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock down McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina by using the ground and pound strategy and earned the TKO 2nd round win. Her next fight, against Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, as well as she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. In her place she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by majority decision.
